OMG ! Where do I start ! I usually don’t do reviews other than Star ratings but, I must let you all know what I think about this book that Marie Force has given us . It starts as a romantic military type book yet quickly turns into AVA and her journey through five years of hoping and wishing and feeling left behind mixed in with her undying love for John West. All the while starting over with the most amazing love she could ever imagine finding through her Sister’s Husband. I am a slow reader and reread several chapters to get deeper into the characters. I could not put it down. As one reviewer wrote, it was unputdownable. This is simply Marie’s best ever book.
Dragged on and on. Sorry
Five years gone is truly a masterpiece! I have never read anything like this. EPIC I all I can say. I was hoping that Ava didn’t take John back. I definitely would highly recommended this book. I laughed and cried. I’m looking forward to the next one. Brilliance!!!
A will written compelling story of loss and recovery by Marie Force. She displays a sensitivity while portraying each characters struggles to move forward from life altering crisis. A great read.
WOW!!! Another reason why Marie Force is one of my favorite authors. Five Years Gone is an absolute must read. Just make sure you have a box of tissues on hand. Can’t wait to read John’s story!
Big Marie Force fan in Phx
This book was so good, I read it in 1 day. Absolutely could not put it down! Can’t wait for the next one to find out what happens to Jack.
I’m a fan of Mrs. Force’s Fatal series, and each book gives you a complete story within a story. This book dragged to the end with a lot of filler that didn’t advance the story line, and really just a set the reader up to sell another book. Reminded me of the YA romances that I’ve come to avoid. Disappointing!
